In the farming journey, transplanting is the stage where young plants, grown from seeds in a sheltered environment like a nursery, are moved to their permanent location in the field. This is a crucial step as it allows the plants to grow in the space they need to reach maturity and produce fruits or vegetables.
It’s important to transplant seedlings at the right time and with proper care to avoid stressing the plants and maximize their chance of thriving.
In our farming project, the survival rate post-transplanting was 100%. All seedlings survived the transplanting process, maintaining their initial vigour and ensuring a promising outlook for the crop yield.
