Inspiring Generations

Thank You

"We visited the home of Rehema Yusuf. She is an immediate neighbour to Annstancia Muthoki Mwandia and they share one solar media device. They have also involved two of their neighbouring girls to study together.

Rehema and the two girls do Hairdressing while Anastacia does Computer programming. It was remarkable to see their detailed notes of the courses they are taking. They each had more than 10 pages of well-organized notes. This is proof of enthusiasm about the program.

Rehema was happy that from the hairdressing course she has learned how to plait corn rows and she had worked on her daughter. By so doing she saved herself money that would be spent in a salon. She also said the solar lamps has saved her on cost of kerosene since the solar she had before was damaged.

Anastacia noted that without a laptop or computer it is challenging to study programming but her interest in the course keeps her going. She hopes that we will find a way to assist her and others taking programming.

Apart from studying their main courses, they confessed to benefit from other programs therein - health and agriculture being their most notable areas of interest".

"Thank you so much for your generous gift of 100 study lights and 8 home lights. The timing could not have been better.

Bridge Uganda pupils received the Mama Layla solar lights a few weeks after the UNEB set the dates for 2022 Primary Leaving Examinations.

The PLE is important because it is the exam that determines if a pupil will transition to secondary school or not. The Study lights will make it possible for our pupils to ably complete their homework, course assignments and study to achieve the PLE goals they set. We are forever grateful".

"We are extremely grateful for the commitment and support you have shown to Sadhguru school. Your donation of 68 solar lamps will help enhance some of our children's after school home learning, support our Montessori Magic Tree house and enable our volunteer resident teachers to work from home."
