About School: Bridge Magamaga School was started to provide children and families across Uganda with life-changing education as a gateway to their future success.
The majority of the children attending the school come from families where their parents are peasant farmers mainly surviving on growing crops like cassava and maize.
What the School Needs
The community around which the school is located has no electricity connectivity. At home, children are forced to use open fire, candles or paraffin lamps to complete their homework causing eyesight problems to the pupils and health complications.
Providing a clean and affordable source of lighting for the school and the children at home would majorly ease learning both in school and at home improving the learning outcomes in the school.

Donation by the Poona and Ismail Mitha families who were residents of Iganga until November 1972.
