The community does not have access to electricity as most of them cannot afford to pay the bills. The families are forced to use open fire, candles or paraffin lamps to complete their homework and house chores causing eyesight problems to families and health complications.
115 families received lights benefiting 400 children and 700 people. The donations were: 120 Study Lights for the Children to study at home, 45 Task Lights and 200 Mini Lights for the parents.
