Makueni Farmers Journey with the Mama Layla Farmers Project.

We take a look at Musimba’s farming journey since he joined Mama Layla Farming Program.

Here’s an update on Gabriel’s Farm in Kareeni, Tharaka Nithi.

The farm is coming up well. The onions which were planted on 22nd August 2024 are doing well ahead of their expected harvest on 7th October 2024.

Our team visited farms in Tharaka Nithi. They met with farmers, did training and commenced work on the farms. 

We had an onion harvest as part of our farming program.

Over the weekend, we made several deliveries of farm produce to various outlets in Nairobi.

This weekend we continued with harvesting on the farms – cabbages and tomatoes. 

Onion farming at Ndolo’s farm who are part of our Farmers Empowerment Program. 

Our dedicated farmers have just brought in their first harvest of crops.
